Bryan??? Should have been Dallas.

It's funny, the right seems to be so flummoxed by Obama's popularity that they're left to flail over increasingly silly issues. Idiotic protests like this will only continue to embarrass libertarians and moderates away from the party. I used to call my self a Republican, now I have to apologize for it.

Assuming you're secure enough to not be afraid of diverse opinion:
!
Anyone with an ounce of sense or perspective KNOWS David Letterman was making Bristol Palin (the adult daughter who WAS impregnated (i.e. knocked up). Why are right wingers so twisted?! and like to twist things to the perverse? I did not even think about the younger daughter when I first heard the joke hullabaloo on the "news". Get your mind out of the gutter. Maybe it was a bad joke but come on--get real!-- there was no way in heaven or hell Mr. Letterman was making a "knocked up" joke about an under aged girl.

I will attend. It's like the line has been drawn in the sand. I did join the facebook account. I just want sponsorship withdrawn from Letterman. I cannot personally really make a "demand" "fire him" after he apologized (even if it was not real sound of an apology, imo). However, I can let sponsors know I will boycott them until they treat my Sarah right. I guess if everyone drops sponsorship - that won't work for Letterman. But I can't say "fire him". :) Sarah is like family to those who love her - she's that powerful a persona... people I know just love her. I do.)

Anonymous... Bristol was not at the game. The 14 year old daughter was. If Letterman wanted "the benefit of the doubt" - he should have used the name "Bristol" when smearing the child of a candidate for no good reason and in so vicious a manner towards an innocent young woman whose only "crime" is being the daughter of a political candidate.

Logic states that the unnamed daughter was the daughter AT the game: the 14 year old daughter.

It's amazing to me how ignorant some of the post on here are. Apologize? My take is if he had never said anything offensive there would be nothing to apologize for. Saying "I'm sorry", means nothing to me. It's extremely lame. Should he be fire "YES". I can say that with great glee. Why do people have to be so mandy pandy and weak? Oh yes, I forgot "we have to make nice". Lest we "offend".
